Just as your car will last longer if you maintain it, your UPPAbaby will have a longer lifespan if you maintain it regularly. Below are some useful tips to help you stay safe and happy while hiking. We recommend that you service your stroller at least once a year. We recommend checking your stroller once a month. How to clean your stroller yourself:
Check that all fasteners, such as rivets and screws, are still secure and safe. Repair visibly worn or broken parts immediately.
Remove all wheels from the stroller and clean off any mud or other dirt with a damp cloth.
Ensure that the hinges and brake are free of mud or other debris. Clean them with a damp cloth or use compressed air. It is best to clean the hinges when the stroller is folded.
Apply some lubricating oil (Vaseline or lubricating oil for strollers) to the axle before reattaching the wheel to the stroller.
In rainy weather, dry the frame of your stroller after each use to prevent metal parts from rusting. Store in a dry place. Do NOT store the stroller in a damp environment.
If your stroller is very dirty, follow the detailed instructions on the care label on the product.

All UPPAbaby strollers and car seats meet and exceed compliance standards and legal safety and testing standards. Legal safety standards require that all car seats and strollers meet strict fire retardant standards. Many manufacturers meet these requirements by treating their fabrics with toxic chemicals such as bromine and chlorine (PBBs and PBDEs), which can be harmful to children. All UPPAbaby products meet all applicable fire retardant standards without these potentially harmful chemicals.
UPPAbaby products are certified by the JPMA (Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association). All our products have been tested by an independent party and meet the most stringent standards.
Your UPPAbaby product comes with a three-year warranty against manufacturing defects, effective from the date of purchase and subject to normal use in accordance with the instructions for use. The warranty applies only to the country of purchase, covers the original owner only, and is not transferable. Please contact us if you have any questions about the warranty.
All UPPAbaby strollers are designed at our headquarters in Rockland, Massachusetts, and manufactured in China under strict quality standards.
The TravelSafe Program applies to strollers, buggies, RumbleSeats, and separate carrycots for a period of 4 years from the date of purchase (3 years under the original product warranty + 1 additional year with the purchase of the Travel Bag).
The TravelSafe warranty ONLY covers damage that occurs during air travel when your products are transported in the official UPPAbaby Travel Bag. The standard warranty for manufacturing defects on strollers remains 3 years. The warranty for manufacturing defects on the Travel Bag is 2 years from the date of purchase.
If the Travel Bag is damaged during air travel but the functionality of the bag is not affected, it will not be replaced (for example, minor damage).
In such cases, customers should file a claim for the damage to the Travel Bag through their travel insurance or airline.
